Why people are leaving Real-Debrid
Real-Debrid was the default debrid service for years because it was cheap and supported a long list of hosts. In May 2026 it added a keyword filter on cached torrents, and many files now return a copyright infringement error. We explain exactly what changed in our Real-Debrid error guide.
Real-Debrid also limits each account to one IP address at a time. If you download at home and on your phone over mobile data at the same moment, that can trigger a warning. For families or people who travel, this was already a pain point before the filter.

How we ranked them
We scored each service on five things that matter when you replace Real-Debrid:
- Host coverage. How many file hosts it supports, and whether the big ones (Rapidgator, Nitroflare, 1Fichier, Mega) are on the list.
- Price per month on the plan most people buy.
- Torrent and cloud support, since that was Real-Debrid’s biggest selling point.
- Device and IP rules, because strict single-IP rules cause the most account problems.
- Ease of use: browser extension, JDownloader support and a clear dashboard.
1. LinkSnappy: best overall Real-Debrid alternative
LinkSnappy is a multi-host downloader. You paste a link from a supported file host, and LinkSnappy fetches it at premium speed without you paying for a premium account on that host. It also downloads torrents to the cloud so you can grab the finished files over a normal HTTPS connection.
Why it is a good Real-Debrid replacement: host coverage is wide, the dashboard is simple, and it works with the tools people already use, including JDownloader and IDM. If you used Real-Debrid mainly for file hosts, the switch takes about five minutes.
Where it falls short: it does not include Usenet, and heavy users should check the daily bandwidth limit (no overall cap; a few hosts have their own daily quota, such as 15 GB on Keep2Share).
Price: $12.99 for 30 days, up to $54.99 for 180 days on the longest plan. Code VAM40 lowers the price at checkout.

2. AllDebrid: closest like-for-like swap
AllDebrid looks and works the most like Real-Debrid. It has a large host list, torrent support, browser extensions and a clean API that most download apps support. If you want the smallest possible change, this is it.
Price: €3.99 for 30 days or €24.99 for 300 days (a €2.99 monthly subscription is also available).

3. Premiumize: best for cloud storage
Premiumize pairs remote downloads with 1 TB of cloud storage, cloud sync (Google Drive and others) and WebDAV, FTP and SFTP access. It bundled Usenet and a VPN in past years, but its current plan page lists only the cloud features, so check before you buy if you need those.
Good for: people who want large cloud storage and remote downloads in one bill.
Price: €9.99 per month or €69.99 per year.
4. TorBox: best for torrent-heavy users
TorBox grew quickly in 2025 and 2026 and is the name that comes up most on forums since Real-Debrid’s filter arrived. It focuses on torrents and Usenet, with a smaller file host list than LinkSnappy or AllDebrid. Reports from May 2026 noted that TorBox did not apply a keyword filter like Real-Debrid’s. Policies can change, so check the current terms before you buy.
Price: from $3 per month.

5. Debrid-Link: budget European option
Debrid-Link is a smaller French service with a decent host list and torrent support. It is worth a look if you want a low price and do not need the widest host coverage. French services may face the same legal pressure that changed Real-Debrid, so keep that in mind.
6. Usenet: the option outside debrid entirely
Usenet is a separate network with its own providers. You pay a provider, use an indexer to find files, and download with a newsreader such as SABnzbd. It takes more setup than a debrid service, but it does not depend on any debrid company’s policy. Our Usenet vs debrid guide walks through the trade-offs.
Which one should you pick?
| If you… | Pick |
|---|---|

| Want Real-Debrid without the filter and with the fewest changes | AllDebrid |
| Want 1 TB of cloud storage with your downloads | Premiumize |

| Want to leave debrid services behind | Usenet |
FAQ
What is the best alternative to Real-Debrid in 2026?
For most people it is LinkSnappy, because it covers a large list of file hosts and torrents in one account at a monthly price close to Real-Debrid’s. AllDebrid is the closest like-for-like swap, and Premiumize is best if you also want 1 TB of cloud storage.
Is AllDebrid better than Real-Debrid?
AllDebrid is similar in features and price. It is a better choice if the 2026 keyword filter or the single-IP rule causes you problems on Real-Debrid. Compare the current host lists before switching, since both change often.
Is TorBox safe to use?
TorBox is a legitimate paid service with public pricing and support. As with any cloud service, read its privacy policy and terms before you upload or download personal files.
Can I use two debrid services at once?
Yes. Many people keep a cheap secondary account as a backup for hosts their main service does not support. Download tools like JDownloader let you add several accounts and pick which one to use first.
Do Real-Debrid alternatives work with Kodi and Stremio?
Most of them connect to the same apps through an API key. Check each app’s supported services list, since support varies by add-on.
Will I lose my remaining Real-Debrid days if I switch?
Your Real-Debrid days keep running until they expire. Switching does not cancel them. Ask Real-Debrid support about refunds if the service no longer works for you.
